Meet Our Team

Amy Hoster
Executive Director

Amy brings a wealth of experience to Retreat at Alameda. An accomplished senior living and senior health care professional, she has held a variety of leadership roles, including Sales and Marketing Manager and Executive Director, for large national organizations. Amy is committed to enhancing the quality of life and meeting the changing needs of the residents she serves. She has dedicated her career to serving seniors, she is proud of the culture of the team created and feels blessed to work at Retreat at Alameda.   In her role as Executive Director, Amy oversees all aspects of the community and enjoys working with her leadership team. A graduate of the University of Phoenix, Amy holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management – Sales and Marketing. 

Toni Grimm
Sales Director

Toni has been in sales her entire career, including pharmaceutical sales, home health, and most recently senior living for the past 4 years. She looks forward to helping residents find their new home at The Retreat. Toni has 2 children, a daughter (Lauren) in college, and a son (Ben) preparing for law school. In her spare time, she enjoys scrapbooking and spending time outdoors with her husband (Bill).

Tristan Cannon
Care Services Director

Tristan is the Care Service Manager here at The Retreat at Alameda. She’s currently going to school to become a nurse and has almost finished with her associate degree. Tristan has two boys, who have never let her have a dull moment since the day they entered this world. Tristan has worked in the senior living industry for 14 years, in both assisted living and memory care. She enjoys being outdoors in the fresh air, fishing, taking road trips and reading a good book.

Ted L. Tims
Director of Dining Services

Ted brings 35 years of culinary experience to The Retreat. He’s an Arizona native. He began his career at the Arizona Biltmore Hotel, working in all aspects of culinary from butcher to baker. During this time, Ted also worked training camps for the Seattle Seahawks during the summer. Ted moved to San Diego and worked for The Sheraton Harbor Island before becoming the Chef for Coyote Springs Brewing Co., Sous Chef at Sun City Grand and then Executive Chef at Mulligans Restaurant. Ted then moved to the Briarwood Country Club in Sun City West for almost 14 years. As he was getting older, he decided the late nights weren’t as conducive to his lifestyle, so he thought he would give senior living a try. Over the last nine years, he’s discovered great joy in taking care of the older population and is looking forward to this new chapter here at The Retreat at Alameda.

Bridget Fette
Memory Care Director

Bridget has been working with Seniors who suffer from all levels of cognitive impairment for 25 plus years. She started out as a CNA, went on to be the Life Enrichment Coordinator with Manor Care, and soon moved into the Resident Care Coordinator position. After 5 years she went on to become the Director of Memory Care for the Woodmark at Sun City where she remained for 18 years. Bridget moved to Arizona in 1985 from Pennsylvania. She has been married 34 years, has two grown children.

Richard Shilaikis
Department of Plant Operations

Richard grew up in small Durango, Colorado where his father taught him to hunt and fish. Hunting and team roping is what he lives for (as well as his fiancée Rosie, to whom he will marry in the fall. After graduating Durango High School in 1990, Richard went to work for his cousin, where he spent 14 years building custom homes. He is looking forward to assisting our residents as they move into The Retreat at Alameda.

Olga Ornelas
Business Office Manager

Olga brings over 25 years of administrative experience in Office Management, Human Resources, and Accounting. She assists in the development and implementation of policies and procedures; manages and oversees the administration of HR policies, programs, and practices within the community. She maintains accounts payable, receivables and monthly billing.  Olga is an Arizona native, and in her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, husband Jesse and her son JoJo. She also enjoys the outdoors and spending time at the lake.
