The Retreat at Alameda is a beautifully modern and clean community!!! I have had the privilege of touring Alameda and visiting it a few other times. The employees I have met are kind and you can see how much they care for the residents. The chef and his staff are amazing; delicious food. The amenities are top notch and the activities offered are great. I am also impressed with the care and security on the memory care side. I am always happy to recommend The Retreat at Alameda!

When I leave my mom now, I feel content and know she is getting great care. She is always dressed well, clean, and participating in activities. Her room is always in excellent condition, and the housekeeping staff maintain her room better than I would. She is always carrying a drinking container with water, having snacks, and fed well. The food is exceptional as well.

What a beautiful facility! The environment in this community is so warm and welcoming. The residents are so cared for and are treated like family . I’ve had the pleasure of sharing a meal or two and the food was delicious. I love how warm and caring everyone is from the Chef to the Property Manager..

I am so very thankful that I found the Retreat at Alameda. My father moved in there right after their opening. Toni was wonderful at making his move there very smooth and a great experience. From day one the care has been spectacular! Words cannot tell you how thankful I am for the care my father has been given. Everyone there treats him like he was a family member. Toni, Amy, Olga and all the staff... thank you so much! My father was in an assisted living in California, although a beautiful facility, the care was not even close to what he is getting now. My father is doing wonderfully there and I can relax and feel happy, knowing he is being so well cared for. They do his laundry in his room, therefore not losing it as was the case in the other facility. He has a GPS type alert bracelet when he needs help, and the food is great, as I can attest to, since I have eaten with him there! Thank you all again!

We moved my mom into the assisted living section of The Retreat at Alameda the middle of May. She had been in assisted living for over 2 years at a previous location but was gradually growing unhappy with each passing day. The Retreat at Alameda was closer to us and brand new so we started doing our research.We have been very pleased with her care. She is showered as scheduled, up & dressed everyday, bed is made, and her apartment is always clean. She always has a full glass of water and they come to take her to the dining room at meal time. She gets her hair & nails done and has even had doctor, eye & dentist appointments all on site.We feel that the staff goes out of their way to take care of Mom. They try to come up with activities that she likes and even come to her room to spend time with her. We notice that when we are visiting, the caregivers come to her apartment just to check up on her (not just when she calls for them).We are kept in the loop via email of activities that are scheduled at The Retreat and are invited to join her. The place itself is beautiful and kept spotless.We are very happy with our decision to move her to The Retreat at Alameda.
